Meet the Team

The people behind Elo Healing bring lived experience, clinical depth, and genuine warmth to every session. We believe the therapeutic relationship itself is where healing happens — and that starts with who we are.

I built Elo Healing because I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be fully seen — not just their symptoms, but their story, their culture, and the patterns that brought them here.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationships, and the quiet grief of living between two worlds. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and attachment-based — which means we will not just talk about what is happening. We will explore where it comes from, what it has been protecting you from, and how the patterns in your relationships shape the way you move through the world.

Your patterns make sense. My work is to help us understand them together.

I created this practice to be the kind of space I wished existed — warm, culturally fluent, and deeply human. A place where therapy honors your whole story, and where the therapeutic relationship itself becomes the ground on which healing grows.

Whether you are a woman carrying more than you can name, a daughter of immigrants navigating two worlds, or someone whose internal life is finally asking to be heard — you are welcome here, exactly as you are.

Alessa Vivas

Registered Mental Health Intern · English & Tagalog

As an immigrant and military service member, Alessa understands firsthand what it means to navigate major life transitions, to hold multiple identities at once, and to build resilience in spaces that were not always built for you.

She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, identity questions, and the relational challenges that come with living between cultures and roles. Her approach is collaborative and person-centered, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based practices, and mindfulness-based interventions — always grounded in the understanding that each person’s experience is unique.

Alessa believes in a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and genuine care. She creates space for clients to explore what’s happening beneath the surface, build practical skills for the storms that life brings, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been set aside.

Services are available in both English and Tagalog — so you can communicate in the language that feels most like home.

Alessa is currently awaiting approval of her Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) license from the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. Once approved, she will provide counseling services under the clinical supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), ensuring clients receive ethical, high-quality, and professionally guided care.
